Nickel Alert™ 2-Pack

$ 28.50

<b>Overview<b>

Would you like to know which pairs of earrings contain nickel before your skin tells you?

Nickel Alert™ quickly, easily, and safely tests jewelry and other metal items like watches, jean snaps, and eye glasses to determine if nickel is present.

Within 30 seconds you will know if the item has nickel.

Let Nickel Alert test for nickel in your jewelry–NOT your skin!

<b>Details<b>

Nickel Alert™ is a ready-to-use dimethylglyoxime (dmg) spot test for nickel. The nickel test is pre-mixed and pre-measured for both accuracy and convenience. This reduces mess and inaccurate test results. Nickel Alert is safe and easy to use. It will not harm metal items.

Nickel Alert (dmg spot test) is sensitive enough to detect the presence of free nickel at a level as low as 10 ppm (parts/million)—a threshold below which only individuals with the most pronounced sensitivity to nickel would experience a reaction.

<b>Directions<b>

Nickel Alert™ allows you to easily test for nickel in any metal item — so your skin does not have to!

One bottle of Nickel Alert will provide 100 - 150 positive tests!

Dab 2 drops of Nickel Alert on a cotton swab. Rub the metal item firmly for 15-30 seconds with the swab. A pink-red color on the swab indicates nickel.

Do not reuse the swab.

To demonstrate a positive test, test a nickel coin. It contains 25% nickel and will turn the swab pink indicating nickel is detected.

Nickel Alert can be used to retest items coated with Nickel Guard to verify protective barrier is in place.

39 common things that contain nickel.

Shipping Notice: Nickel Alert contains a flammable liquid and must be shipped via Surface Mail Only; it requires ORMD labeling to ensure it is not shipped via air. These precautions can add to delivery times.
